macOS, iOS, iPadOS & visionOS 26 Compatibility

NOTE: Please use the search function above before posting to avoid creating duplicate topics.

  • Device model (e.g. 2020 iPad Air 4th Gen): N/A
  • Version of operating system (e.g. macOS 14.4.1): Apple OS’s 26
  • Version of djay (e.g. 5.1.2): 5.4.x
  • Hardware/controllers used (e.g. Reloop Mixon 8 Pro): FLX10

Your question:
Will the latest versions of djay Pro be working with the new apple OS 26’s due out tomorrow?

What makes you think that shouldn’t be the case? Sure, bugs and problems can occur, of course, but that’s always the case and not just with new major OS updates. In any case, Djay has been running flawlessly with the beta versions of the last few weeks and months. So I assume that will continue to be the case.

It was the assumption that you’re using that I didn’t want to go with. Surely it’s best to get the official word from the developer?

I have to agree. Has anyone actually tested the official iPadOS 26 with like a Mixtour Pro or Mixon 8?

I’m personally holding off the update .

Yes, no problems so far.

Thanks Chris. Appreciate the feedback.

With Apple doing a few tweaks in the audio preferences for iPad OS. Im sort of nervous to update.

Leaving it for now. Makes no difference what iPadOS its on as long as the djay app is stable.

Hello everyone, sorry for the delayed reply here. We’ve verified OS 26 compatibility with the latest versions of djay. djay worked great in our tests with this new operating system.

However, as a word of caution, there is a wide variety of hardware setups out there; so, my personal recommendation as a working DJ myself, is to stick with your current setup for now if you have important gigs coming up. Thanks!

Thanks. May leave it to.after christmas.

You’re welcome @Keezza
