Main Out Effect suggestions

Yessir, that’s it exactly. If the devs could make what I put there persistent, I’d be a happy happy happy camper. I’d also be super stoked if they could make the master volume output persistent as well.

Currently only one Master Out Effect is possible at a time. However, I have changed this from a question to a suggestion and forwarded this to the dev team for consideration. Thanks!

I think there are some vst / au that give you the chance to Route more than one effect. A kind of effect Band. But I am not sure about the name

The ability to use an AU Plugin on the Main Output of DJay has so much potential, but sadly seems to be let down by some key functionality issues.

For me, one of the main uses for the Main Out Effect (as it’s known) is with a parametric EQ plugin to tune a system at smaller parties where there is no external EQ available for tuning the system to the room.

There are two issues that I am encountering every time I do this:

  1. Once I add the EQ plugin and set the settings, I have to keep the plugin window open throughout my set. As soon as I close the plugin GUI, DJay removes the plugin from the output completely. I can minimise the plugin’s window, but this doesn’t follow the behaviour that I am used to from using these plugins in a DAW like Logic. I would like to suggest that DJay allows the user to close the plugin’s GUI without removing it from the output completely.
  2. The other issue is that, once I have set the plugin’s settings to a particular room, DJay does not remember those settings if I close and reopen DJay. I can of course save those plugin settings to the plugin’s own preset menu, but it would be an improvement to at least remember the last settings that were used - especially for those of us using DJay mostly in the same room all the time.

Yup. Both have been requested before. But I’m not sure there’s a separate topic. So thanks!

Also, be sure to put your own vote in at the top left.

Hello everyone! I’ve merged several of these topics into one as they are all closely related. Please revote above as needed. Thanks!

Sorry, I did run a search, I promise!

But the voting button says “closed”…

No problem @Belford_Roxo

Not on my screen. :man_shrugging:t3:

It was on mine, but now is open. So I have voted!
