YOUR SUGGESTION:
- within the library if you have a track selected and you click a column (i.e. BPM or Key) to resort the track list the selected track gets lost in the resorted list. It would be far better if the resorted list kept your selected track focused, because after all your are probably looking for tracks related to the one you have selected.

Thanks for the suggestion @FlatLine. I’ll share this with our devs for consideration. In the meantime, please use the blue Vote button at the top left of this page so we can gauge user demand for this feature. Thanks!
If it is still selected, but not visible, you might be able to bring that part of the list back into focus by using the up or down arrow keys to select the track above or below it (and therefore force the software to bring that part of the list back into the visible portion)?

Thanks for the suggestion @Belford_Roxo
Another quick solution is to have a shortcut key to locate file within the playlist, I think I remember seeing this has been asked for already

- Would prefer to manually jump to the highlighted track → similar to Locate Track.
- Would like an ON/OFF switch for “maintain track focus while sorting” feature.
macOS Workaround (not sure about Windows)
I use a couple of keyboard shortcuts to 1. load the Selected Track to Deck 3 (after sorting, when the track is no longer visible). 2. Run Locate Track to jump to the track. I do this enough that I’ve dedicated the K and L keys specifically for this.
K - load Selected Track to Deck 3 (after Sort)
L - Locate Track (cycles thru / jumps to tracks loaded on Decks).

Thanks for sharing @Michael_Wisniewski
doesn’t work (at least not on windows): highlighted track does lose focus*, “cursor” stays in same spot, ends up on new track (but grey not orange). Up down arrows merely move the cursor from that point.
*after sorting I hunted down the previously selected track to confirm it was no longer selected.
