iPad Pro M4
Djay 5.6.5
iPad os26.5.
No controller.
Match function on my iPad has stopped working for certain tracks. Some tracks it works fine and well but for others it is suggesting correct bpms but not compatible keys.
All tracks have been analysed and No tracks have been related. Also there is no shortage of tracks within the same bpm and key to suggest. Video attached
I’ve never been a fan either. However with one library working quite well I’m not loading my full library onto my iPad anymore and keeping it playlist/genre specific, similar to the engine workflow. I had hoped it may be of some use with a more refined selection of tracks which it could do if it would only function properly
Hi @daniel_curley, thanks for the video and setup details. I tested this on my M4 iPad, with djay 5.6.5 and iOS 26.5 and it seems to be matching properly.
Has anything changed in your setup between when it was working properly and stopped working?
Is there any commonality between the songs that aren’t showing good matches?
Maybe a specific file format?
Are you using any streaming services in addition to local files?
Are the songs all copied to your iPad internal drive or are you using an external drive?
Found a few gremlins in my library, some weird stuff going on. Some ghost related tracks that wouldn’t delete. My database must have become corrupted somehow. Deleted my library and tried to sync back from lexicon and it crashed djay so I’ve gone for an independent re set.. So far so good matching tracks.
