Meta Quest and streaming

Hi guys, I’ve purchased the app for the Meta Quest 3 and trying to connect it to Apple Music. It keeps saying my account is suspended (it is not) and wondering what the issue could be? The FAQ doesn’t list apple music as supported (or any streaming service for that matter) so want to make sure that’s not the issue.

Hi @djackal, welcome to the Community! Yes, Apple Music is supported for djay on the Meta Quest. I just tested this myself and am able to log into Apple Music on Meta Quest 3 with no issues.

  1. Can you please make sure you are running the latest Meta Horizon OS?
  2. Please also make sure you are running the latest version of djay for Meta Quest.
  3. Can you confirm that you have a good WiFi connection?
  4. Please double check that your Apple Music subscription is still active by logging into your account on music.apple.com or through the Apple Music app on another device. If your subscription has lapsed, you’ll need to renew it to access Apple Music within the djay app.
  5. Confirm that your Apple ID does not have age-related restrictions as this can prevent access to Apple Music in third party apps.
  6. Try logging out and back into your Apple ID on another device.
  7. Make sure you are using the same email and login credentials as your Apple ID above when logging into your Apple Music account within djay. Note that depending on your security settings, you may need to receive a 2FA code to another device and then enter it when logging into Apple Music within djay. I hope that helps!

It still won’t work…it says account locked (although it isn’t).
It connects fine on my Android djay app…could this have something to do with it? Should I unlink the app if I want to use the meta quest instead?

Hi @djackal, what happens when you log into http://music.apple.com/ on your Quest outside of the djay app?
