MIDI command for Turntable Start/Stop?

Hi,

I have a question regarding djay Pro AI.

In the turntable section of the software, there is an On/Off switch (as shown in the screenshot). I would like to know if it is possible to MIDI map this On/Off function to a button on a DJ MIDI controller.

Specifically:

  • Can this On/Off switch be assigned to a hardware button?

  • Is it available in the MIDI mapping list?

  • If not, is there any workaround to trigger it via MIDI?

Being able to map this function to a controller would improve workflow and allow more direct hardware control during performance.

Hi @n421m, there is no MIDI command for this function. However, you can achieve a similar result with the Play/Pause button by adjusting the Start Time and Stop Time in the djay Settings>General.
