midi controller and djay pro on iOS

I am struggling to connect a midi controller to my iPad 2 (ios 9.3.5) running Djay Pro 1.0.25

Using a Vestax VCM-100 (powered with adaptor)

Plugged in via camera connection adaptor (Apple A1358)

Djay recognises a device is connected, but says not compatible, although on webpage it is listed as a natively supported controller.

Used a midi program to check (midi wrench) and midi signals exist

Tried connecting via a  powered USB hub too.

 

Any ideas?!

Thank you for getting in touch.

The Vestax VCM 100 is supported by djay for iOS.

Unfortunately, there was no mapping introduced for djay Pro back then.
