I made a pretty dialed in twister midi mapping I thought I’d share. I haven’t seen this style of FX mapping before so it could be a good jump off point for some. It includes animations (flashing) when fx and loop are enabled, and it’s a simple twist to activate FX using the super knob function.
I’ve put the imports below along with a diagram. Gain could be better utilized, but I use a AKAI AMX which uses encoders for gain, so the lights to see position are helpful for me.
Shift is entirely unused and so are the other banks so there’s so much more room for improvement. Hopefully I’ll see some other build off of this.
And to clarify, left side is predominately deck 1 and right side deck 2. Dry/wet on the reset FX is mainly useless too. FX BPM and Reset BPM is mapped for both Deck 1 and Deck 2.
