It also pointed out that The iPad version of djay doesn’t expose MIDI Learn in the same way as desktop, so editing mappings is easier on Mac. Best to finalize your map on Mac, then just transfer it.
On the Mac there’s a default you can always go back to if need be, should be the same on the iPad.
