MIDI Mapping folder location on iOS

I am trying to import in a .djayMidiMapping file to my iPad, and am running into some roadblocks. When I go into my Files folder and select the Djay directory, there is no “MIDI Mapping” folder like there is on my Mac. I tried creating the folder and dropping the file in, but that didn’t work. I then tried putting the file in the main directory, but that also did not work.

Is there something I am missing here?

Just send Airdrop or copy your .djayMidiMapping to iPad then tap that file to open. Then File App will open djay Pro and it will show pop up ask you to install mapping or not.

Hi @shmimel, djay on iOS doesn’t use the same sub-folder structure as macOS. There is no need to create a MIDI Mapping folder. Simply copy your *.djayMidiMapping file into the main djay folder on your iPad.

This was the solution! Opening the file from the Files app (which opens up Djay) worked!
