Hi I am currently mapping the behringer x touch mini to djay pro and ive mapped everything as i wanted but I have an issue with the leds of the controller.

Could someone experienced take a look at the manual of the midi controller on the web page I posted and explain how do I make the leds follow the commands in djay pro? I need assistance for the leds of the buttons but I also need assistance for the leds around the rotary knobs.

Any help is really appreciated as I have spent many hours trying to figure out the issue and my wife is really angry :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Hi @GP_NS ,

So it looks like all the MIDI commands for this controller are documented on page 20 of the Quick Start guide:

Looking at the image of the controller itself, I can see a bunch of (button) LEDs and then there’s the ring LEDs around the various knobs.

Have you have any success getting any of the button LEDs to work (let’s start there) so far?

How far into it are you? Do we need to start with a single button and work from there?

Cheers

James

I’ve found the solution and I’ve mapped the leds as i wanted. Only issue now is with the '“Layers”.

If you take a look at the controller it has A and B layer. If I map a button in both layers A and B to do the same thing, for example “deck 1 fx1 on” I need to map the button twice as the command changes from layer A to layer B. However the led doesn’t follow automatically.

If I press “deck 1 fx1 on” in layer A and then switch to layer B, the led on the layer B isn’t on as it should. It only turns on after ive pressed the same button in layer B once and only after that it “catches up”
