**YOUR QUESTION: Midi map glitch flx4
i did some remaping, and did something i should not.
now the music stops to play if i use neural mixing, and now there is a echo on any stem i remove.
i tried looking around for a reset of the midi, as i had of course, remade the original.
cuz this is driving me mad big time, as i would have thrown this into the mirror if i were 18, mad** 
spending hours a day right now..

Hi @AndyBoPandy, you should be able to simply switch back to the FLX4 (built-in) MIDI mapping to use the original default mapping prior to your changes.

sorry for late reply-
i tried several times going back to the built in config and again tried remap the pads to stems.but they echo out if i turn them off.
and it still glitches and stops the music. ive recorded a video with my phone.
i have not reinstalled djay pro yet to se if it solvs it. but im gonna try that as well..

@AndyBoPandy, first of all, please check if you have the Mute FX enabled. If so, please turn it OFF.
Now, instead of using the Neural Mix Active (4ch: …) MIDI commands for your 4 Pads, please map these to Neural Mix Solo (4ch: …) instead (see below):

omg. just like last week, u post time up then i come. been occupied with same thing as last as well. well well.
i did have that echo out clicked in. i hadnt done it tho. first time it bugged out on me, a lot of weird changes happened, like it was set on play to take 2.6 seconds to play up. that was a bit weird.
i changed to solo as recommended. and i dont know if ive had one sound glitch, it sounded weird, just like it does when it remaps itself. i have to give it another go and play for a while and double triple check.
one thing tho with solo. its impossible to turn off all solo, then it loops back to all rather then removing the one im pushing.
it has given me some headf%kk so far mixing with this setup. crashing so many mixes thinking it works as before.
is there a preferred way? am i the only one with these kinds of problem?
guess not.
feel a bit lost still in the understanding of all the mapping and the language.
takes time to learn. and im a gemini. i dont have patience for anything facepalm
Hi @AndyBoPandy, sorry that doesn’t seem to have helped. Unfortunately, I’m not sure what else to suggest here. Maybe someone else with a FLX4 will have some recommendations for you.

u had the solution with solo mode mix on the first try.
id like to know, why.. how, if data is available.

of reason of why solo mix worked and not active or mute on the stems pads.
but to add to the first remap, i changed, or tried to change a lot of pads, tried to figure out how to change CFX filter fx knobs. around that time the whole thing broke down
It’s really difficult for me to know exactly what you changed or broke with your custom mapping. I recommend that you make a new copy of the (built-in) mapping and start over from scratch. Start by only making small changes and testing the modifications after each change. If everything works as expected then make another small change and test again. Do this process slowly and methodically so that you can identify exactly what change breaks things in your mapping. I hope that helps!
