MIDI setup for Mixstream Pro + on iPhone?

My iPhone and Mixstream Pro+ can both see each other and have no problem discovering/connecting no matter which device is used to find and connect to each other. But when trying to use my controller as a midi controller it shows up blue on the mode screen but it doesn’t work. It doesn’t control anything on Dj pro and operates in normal mode,
I’ve tried switching the controller into computer mode and it cannot be found on Bluetooth of iPhone?

Any help is greatly appreciated, I’ve obviously seen lightning to usb a cable option but was hoping I could control djay as easy as connecting my old pioneer ddj200

Hi @K6vbe, sorry to hear you’re having trouble connecting your iPhone to the Mixstream Pro+.

  1. It sounds like you are trying to connect your iPhone to the Mixstream Pro+ via Bluetooth. I’m pretty sure this method is not supported with this hardware.
  2. Since your iPhone has a Lightning socket, you will need to use the official/genuine Apple Camera Adapter to connect (Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter - Apple)
  3. Also note that the Mixstream Pro+ must be in Computer mode to work with djay on your iPhone.
