Also after I load a song that djay gives a missing error it does not keep it highlighted as missing .

The files that are giving me problems are local files that djay has the source listed as Apple Music.

Hi @Five-0,

Your video seems to be gone. I’m not experiencing any issues with local files or Apple Music local files myself. But I can imagine this could be a frustrating issue.

Could you elaborate a bit more on what’s happening and/or share the video publicly again?

Hello, same trouble on my ipad pro, some local files appear missing.

Are you by any chance using Lexicon? Just a thought, since it manipulates the database directly.

If you notice …..I played a track that was missing but djay didn’t keep it highlighted as missing. I figured out a work around for my system.

So, you’re saying that the files really are missing? Ok, maybe edit your original post because it isn’t clear.

Yes the files are missing. But I can’t visually tell because Djay does not mark it as missing. I only find out when I try to load in the deck…. Just like the video shows..

No just iOS and djay

Did you watch the video? It clearly shows my problem

Hi @Five-0, thanks for the details about your setup and the issue. I was not able to replicate this on my end and have passed it onto engineering to see if they can. I’ll report back soon.

Hi @Five-0 and @stef971, engineering is still trying to replicate this issue. Can you please confirm the file formats you are having issues with and where they are stored (internal drive, external drive, iCloud, etc.)? Thanks!

I store my main music in folders on my Mac book pro(which I use as my main machine). Any changes I just transfer my media file to iPad . To make things easy I combined all that music to 1 giant folder of about 10,000 songs that I dj with (mp3 &mp4). Then transferred that 1 folder to my iPad. After doing that I’ll add the new folder to the collection and djay finds the correct path. Unfortunately I have lots of missing files. But if I do the same process but add the songs thru Apple Music then make a playlist with those songs in my collections I have no missing songs. Now when I make changes on my Mac Book and transfer my media library to my iPad all I have to do is add my Apple Music playlist to the collection again and I will have no missing files in my play list.. I’ll let y’all figure out my bad grammar :joy:

Thanks for the additional info @Five-0. I’ll share this with the team…
