Missing metadata when copying from iTunes into OneLibrary

SUMMARY OF ISSUE: Needed to Export all my playlists from iTunes into One Library, notice that I couldn’t drag playlist from iTunes and drop into One Library, neither was there an option to copy playlists from iTunes and paste inside One Library, only option available is to create new playlist one at a time inside One Library, then select a playlist from iTunes, copy all the songs inside folder then paste them inside One Library playlist folder. This is a tedious process when you have many playlists, but I notice when your copying many files many songs are missing metadata, so what I did was deleted all the contents of the playlists in One Library that had many songs missing metadata, recopied and paste, waited for the process to complete before moving to the next playlist, That resolved the issue, but the process is tedious

Try transferring playlists from iTunes → My Collection → OneLibrary (transfer the entire playlist, no need to copy/paste tracks).

NOTES: Unfortunately, I have found copy/pasting large playlists between djay and iTunes to be very unreliable. As you found out, many of the tracks do not transfer over. In my testing, 30 or less tracks worked almost all of the time, but when I tried to consistently copy over 100+ tracks, it was a bit of a crap shoot. Works some of the time, then other times, only copies some of the tracks (and does not throw an error), so you have to manually double-check to be sure.

Thanks for sharing @Michael_Wisniewski. Always appreciated!

I haven’t tried lately but, in the past (several updates back), I would:
Open both serato and djay side-by-side and attempt to drag ALL tracks from a playlist (djay) into a crate (serato).
What would happen was that: If I hurry and, say, select ALL tracks off a playlist and drag into a serato crate, only the first page of tracks visible would go! So out of 100 tracks, serato will only end up with 16!

What I found out as solution back then was, To open a playlist, then first scroll all the way to the bottom track in the playlist and ensure djay has fully read them all (i know that by looking at the artwork, if the artwork is fully shown, track is fully read). Only then when i select ALL and drag onto serato would all 100 (or whichever the size of playlist is) would go.

This is something you could try (Wait for iTunes library to fully read, scroll to bottom then drag). You never know
