Hardware/controllers used - Hercules, DJControl MIx
The numbers of songs are mismatched between My Collection vs Local Music (Apple).
Eg I have 8300 tracks at the moment in Local Music (Apple sync the entire list from Music (Mac))
Then I went to My Collection, under the main playlist called “Music”, i then Add from Library.
Selected Local Music as the source, selected “Select All (8300)” button, then done.
I’d like to jump in here and share some thoughts based on my own experience:
When transferring music between apps, the process often relies on playlists. Could it be that not all tracks in your Apple Music library are part of a playlist?
I encountered a similar issue and solved it by creating a new playlist called “All” and adding my entire collection to it. After that, when I transferred the music, the numbers matched up correctly.
It might be worth trying this approach to see if it resolves the mismatch. Let me know how it goes!

That’s why I submitted this request because it solves the same problem, but then the other way around:
Btw2, did you know that you can also drag and drop the entire iTunes Music collection structure in one go? This way, it copies the whole collection, including the inner structure. It’s another option that might save you some time!
