I see this topic has been discussed, then closed long ago. Any chance there will ever be support for the Mixars Primo controller? I want to use this as my primary controller, but I’m not techy enough to map it myself.
Hi @djgdiddy,
Thanks for joining the Community to post this question.
This controller is not natively supported in djay yet. Also, please note that we’re not allowed to discuss future plans. However, we’ll be sure to push this request internally. We’ll keep you posted here with any updates regarding the support for the Mixars Primo 2.
We appreciate your patience on this topic. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Cheers, G
FYI, I’ve re-opened the other topic about this controller:

Hello to everyone!!
Has anyone made a mapping for mixars primo controller (mac)?
or if someone can inform us if in the future the developers will create mappings for djay pro?
Hi @Ioannis_Tsipis, here’s a guide to creating your own MIDI Mappings on macOS in case you’re unable to find one from someone else.

Please create a mapping for Mixars primo console!!! Is very difficult to create it alone!!
Hi @Ioannis_Tsipis, I’ve merged your new topic with this existing one and passed this onto our dev team. In the meantime, please use the blue Vote button at the top left of this page so we can gauge user demand for this hardware. Thanks!
yes ok but still no solution has been found!! create mapping for mixars primo!!
Hi @Ioannis_Tsipis, please refer to the linked topic below regarding hardware support and our voting system. Thanks!
Please create a mapping for mixars primo.
I tried by myself and I have made most of them but I have a problem with the pads buttons (hot cues, sampler etc…) I don’t know how to make the pads work as hot cues, samplers, role, loop. on the led lights on the jog wheels, for example: there is a led ring that turns when the song is playing and flashes 30 seconds before it ends. finally, it doesn’t show the lights on the equalizer to see the distortions.
Thanks for continuing to push support for this hardware. I’ve merged your new topic with this existing one. Also, I will share this with the dev team.
Please note that mapping VU meter LEDs is not currently supported in the djay MIDI learn tool.
Regarding the Performance Pads, you should be able to MIDI map these. Start by selecting the desired pad mode via the hardware. With most DJ controllers, they send unique MIDI commands for the pads with each different Pad Mode. For example, select Hot Cues via the hardware, then press each of the pads while in the MIDI Learn tool and map them to Hot Cue 1, 2, 3, etc…
