Mixed in Key Pro Playlist export/import

Hello,

I was wondering if I can import playlist from Mixed in Keys Pro to Djay Pro on Ipad and or MacBook Air, the new features of Mixed in Keys are awesome but I have not been able to take advantage with Daisy pro.

Thanks,

Hi @cariocarj10, welcome to the Community! I don’t have access to Mixed in Key Pro to confirm 100%, but I’m not aware of any method to import these playlists directly into djay on iOS or macOS. However, you might be able to use a 3rd party tool like Mixo to achieve this.

There is no way to directly import form MIK (Mixed in Key) to Djay Pro but there is a work around, you need the free version of Rekordbox (the one used to export to CDJ), you will have to export from Mixed in Key to Rekordbox and then use the new One Library feature to export to a USB Stick, you can import form that USB Stick to import to DJay Pro since it is compatible with One Library. The issue is still that DJay does its own analysis overwriting key analysis done in MIK, DJay Pro has no way of deactivating automatic analysis. So the only tools from MIK that will be useful are energy levels and automatic hot cues.
