Mixon 8 - Cutting out channel with delay/echo FX doesn't have the same outcome as the Mixon 4

When adding in delay/echo FX on a specific channel then cutting the entire channel I was able to allow the delay/echo FX to fade out on the mixon 4. This doesn’t appear to do the same on the Mixon 8. Is this possible? Is there a setting that may need changing?

@xferdix go to djay Settings->Sound->FX Routing and set it to Post Fader.
