Mixon 8 Swapping Pad Modes and Mirror pads?

YOUR QUESTION:
I don’t see these two questions via search so here we go.

  1. I just got a mixon 8 and I do not like having to hit Preformance Pad MODES LOOP ROLL X2 to access instant effects and same with SAMPLER X2 to get to Neural Mix controls. I tried to MIDI map this to swap so it would be the opposite x2 press to get to LOOP ROLL & SAMPLER.

The Djay software isn’t detecting my performance pad mode buttons to navigate like everything else. I am very new to this so forgive me.

2.Also I can’t figure out how to mirror the performance pads for the instant effects. I kinda need this as I like to have the two closest to center be set the same on both decks. As it stands it is just a copy of itself so the two effects I need closest to center on the right deck are the furthest away.

I guess another solution to this # 2 Question would be how to have different pad effects on both sides of the controller? Currently when I change one instant effect on the right deck it changes it to the same on the left deck etc

Hi @Victimizer, swapping entire Pad Modes is not currently possible by remapping the Pad Mode buttons above the 8 Performance Pads. To remap these you need to remap each of the 8 Performance Pad buttons individually to the new function. So, start by switching to the Pad Mode that you want to remap. Then press button 1 and change it to the new function (ex. Instant FX1). Then repeat for button 2-8. I hope that helps.
