Hi @rishi, are you using the (built-in) MIDI mapping or a custom edit? Please note, if you have deleted the Crossfader MIDI command in the mapping file, Hardware Mode will not be available.
Custom edit with remapped X fader assignment. It does come back if you remap to X fader.
That’s a weird choice to disable hardware mapping based on XFader assignment. One of the things I like about hardware mode is that it doesn’t show the X fader on screen. So when you do remap the Xfader, the on screen Xfader is not wasted space.

You’re welcome @rishi. The reason the crossfader mapping is required is because Hardware Mode removes the onscreen Crossfader. So if you connect a device that doesn’t have a physical crossfader or crossfader mapped, there are situations where the crossfader could potentially be on one side or the other and the user would have no way of knowing why they have no audio output on one of the decks.
