Just got my mix tour pro, work for about six minutes now both Neural mix lights near the top of the controller are just fading off and on won’t respond to anything tried power cords different devices seems to be in some sort of sleep mode please help
OK got it going. It’s weird because in the beginning I was just able to use a type C to lightning cable straight from My iPhone to mix tour pro. and then it stopped working, but if I use an adaptor light to USB to USB-C It’s back online, Good to go so I guess my new question is why did lightning to USB-C work in the beginning and now it’s not.
My brand-new Mixtour Pro (firmware 1.0) worked with my iPhone X (iOS 16.7.10) for about 5-10 minutes.
I noticed on the box the Mixtour Pro came in that it says "Compatible with iOS 17 upwards)
I was using a lightning to USB-C with USB-A adapter to go to my PC.
After it stopped working I wasn’t able to get the iPhone to recognise the Reloop device whatsoever, even after upgrading the firmware to 1.01
In the end I bought a new iPad Air 2024 M2 and it’s been rock solid, using USB-C cables throughout.
Whether it was something funky with the Lightning / USB-A connectivity in the signal path, or the lower than supported version of iOS I don’t know and possibly never will now.
Hello! It’s been more than 10 days since my last reply. I’m going to consider this topic completed for now so I can focus on others. However, please feel free to respond and we can definitely revisit this. Thanks!
Still the same Issue. dJay for Mac does not recognise the Mixtour Pro. No matter if you connect the mixture first or start the dJay for Mac app first or connect the divice first.
=> IF <= the Reloop Mixtour Pro is connected to a (strong) power.
If you (switch the inputs and) power the Mixtour Pro only(!) from you laptop then it works
My mixtour pro just started doing this same thing. Works fine with my iPhone 16 plus Pro and iPad pro M4 if connected via Apple USBC cable as the power source. But if I plug a power source to power the Mixtour pro it is powered but the iPad or iPhone is not seen via the dedicated iOS or Mac USBC port.
Make sure both your charger and cable support USB-C Power Delivery (PD). This is the only version of USB that supports the 20 watts required by the Mixtour Pro. Typically you’ll see the cables/chargers rated in watts: 20, 60, 100 etc.
This chart shows how much wattage can be delivered by different versions of USB. Only the last one has enough power to run the Mixtour Pro. Your charger/cable have to be compatible with that version of USB.
Thank you for the response. I ended up powering the Mixtour pro with a macbook pro power supply. and use the USB C cable that came with my iPhone 16 and a new cable to the iPad Pro. It worked as it should be.
Interesting that the Mixtour pro did power up before but didn’t talk to the ipad on the other USBC port.
