Device: iPhone 11 Pro + Reloop Mixtour Pro
App Version: djay 5.2.8 (latest version)
When using Bounce Loop in Split Mode on two channels simultaneously, one of the channels will get stuck in a fixed loop that cannot be disabled unless the track is reloaded.
Steps to Reproduce:
-
Load two tracks, one on each channel.
-
Set a 4-bar loop (or any loop length) on each channel.
-
Activate Bounce Loop mode on both channels.
-
Enter Split Mode and simultaneously press one of the Bounce Loop buttons on both channels.
-
One of the two channels (sometimes both) will now have a fixed loop that cannot be turned off, requiring a track reload to reset.
Let me know if you encounter the same problem!
Cheers,
Lorenzo
Hi @Lorenzo_Grilli, welcome to the Community! Sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue.
- What iOS version and Mixtour Pro firmware are you using?
- Can you please also try to capture a short video of the issue, upload it to your Google Drive/Dropbox, enable sharing permissions, then share a link to the video here? Thanks!

Thank you @Slak_Jaw for your swift reply! I am using iPhone 15 Pro (sorry not iphone 11) Version iOS 18.1.1 and Mixtour Pro firmware v1.01.
Here is a google drive link to an example video of the issue:
You’re welcome @Lorenzo_Grilli. Thanks for the video. This is super helpful.
- Are you using the built-in MIDI Mapping or a custom edit?
- Are you able to replicate this same behaviour without the Mixtour Pro connected to your iPhone?

Thanks for the additional info. Does this happen with the built-in mapping as well? What about if you perform the same actions without the DJ controller connected?

Good questions!
Yes, the issue occurs even when I use my Reloop Mixtour Pro with the built-in MIDI Mappings.
Thankfully, when I use Djay Pro in standalone, that is to say with just my iPhone, the problem doesn’t happen.
Thanks for confirming @Lorenzo_Grilli. I actually have the exact same setup as you and was able to reproduce similar results. I will pass this onto our engineering team for further review and analysis. I’ll get back to you when I have news. Thanks!
Hey @Slak_Jaw thanks a lot for that!
Cheers
No problem @Lorenzo_Grilli. You’re welcome!
Hi @Lorenzo_Grilli, our engineering team determined that there was a hardware bug with the Mixtour Pro. It has already been reported to Reloop and they will be releasing a 1.02 Firmware Update today or tomorrow. Please keep an eye out for it here:
