Monthly subscription not working or no longer available?

MacBook Pro 2013 (she’s old but fully functioning!):
macOS Big Sur 11.7.1
Djay 5.2.6

I used to have a Djay Subscription which I’ve used on and off for years, I started it up again in summer and I cancelled in September, but now want to rejoin. On Mac App Store I have option for a monthly subscription but when I try to purchase it doesn’t go through. On Djay app the only option is yearly and I just cannot afford to pay for a whole year when I’m only expecting to use it for the next few months.

Any help appreciated - I’m hoping to rejoin so I can dj my friends party this New Years eve! And then get back into DJing as my resolution for 2025!

Hi @aidanstr, can you please confirm what region you are in? Please close djay and log out of your Apple ID on your Mac. Reboot your device, then make sure you do not have a VPN or Proxy enabled on your Mac. Then log back into your Apple ID and try to purchase the monthly subscription again. I hope that helps!

Hi thanks! Unfortunately I’ve done all that it’s still not going through. I’m from UK if that helps, there’s no VPN or anything.

When I click onto purchase month subscription I get a pop up saying European legislation sometimes requires bank certification and then it just stays on the purchase page until I click out of it. Any help appreciated!

Great. If you have an iOS, Windows or Android device, please try downloading djay onto one of them and try to purchase a 1 month subscription on that device. Your subscription will be cross-platform once it is setup.
