Music in Files App (iCloud) not Downloaded in djay

Hi all, I’m perplexed by this. I have some beats, not apple music, just MP3’s and Wav files on icloud. I did choose download in algoriddm but as an experiment, when disconnecting wifi, the files aren’t available to load into DJ pro.

  • Version of operating system (e.g. macOS 14.4.1):
  • Version of djay (e.g. 5.1.2):

Device Model - I have a few. Ipad Pro 12.1" Ipad Mini 8" all with IOS 17
DJ pro 5.1

Thanks @kfarrell70, please try the following:

  1. Open the Apple Music App on your iOS device(s)
  2. Make sure that you see the downloaded symbol (circle with a down arrow) to the right of your file.
  3. If you don’t see this symbol, that means the file is not downloaded onto your device and you need to download it.

EDIT: I changed the topic title to make this question more clear.

@kfarrell70, in this case, you need to use the Files App on your iPad to move these files from Locations>iCloud Drive to On My iPad. After you have done this you can import them into djay via the Files source.
