(For this issue I was offline, controller was not plugged in)
(This issue also occurs with my DJ controller plugged in)
Been having this issue for a while now,
“My Files section” Where if I’m scrolling through one of my crates, I can scroll down or in the middle, Then I select a track to load to either deck 1 or 2,
Once I load the track, after maybe 3 secs The whole crate flickers or gliches and automatically scrolls to the top of the list,
This is annoying when your playing live cause you have to scroll back down everytime it gliches, to the last place you were at,
This also happens when you scroll down and add a song into the que list, It Gliches and you have to scroll back down to where you were last. its annoying,
You can also see in video that when my tracks gliches, all the blue highlighted played tracks disappear and then re-appear.
I tried re-analysing the whole crate thinking it was gonna fix it, but it did not, heres a vid of the issue.
This does not occur with Tidal, just with “My Files”
Thanks for the detailed info and video @eecy_cee - this is very helpful. I’ve passed this onto the team to see if they can replicate this. I’ll report back when I have news.
Hi Pato_Selekta I like the way you mentioned “Refreshes”
The glich im experiencing does look like my crate automatically refreshes itself, the refresh command for Tidal playlists is (command+R) “Maybe its doing this automatically” and it should’nt.
It feels like thats whats happening here when the crate refreshes/gliches/flickers,
Hi @eecy_cee, @Pato_Selekta and @Austinjacobm94, is it possible that the view is refreshing because the folder has changed? Perhaps these are cloud synced folders and are receiving updates? Maybe try turning WiFi off on your devices and retest. Thanks!
Hi again @eecy_cee, there is probably a filesystem event causing the folder to reload in djay. Does this also happen for folders on your internal drive?
Hi @eecy_cee, our team still hasn’t been able to replicate this on their setups. Do you have another backup/cloud sync/other apps that could be accessing the drive at the same time? Something like this might be causing change updates.
