Hardware/controllers used DDJ REV5 pioneer
I use the REV5 for scratching. DJay pro have this issue that a set cue point is always pointing at 12 o’clock. That means that when the track reaches the next cue point the needle jumps to about 9 o’clock in preparation for the next cue point (at 12). It makes scratching impossible and very confusing.
- how to disable the needle cue point jump? - it should simply continue spinning, no jumping around to the next point.
- most turntablists use the 2 o’clock position, typically as their first cue point, the rest will be around the record wherever they ‘land’. So the first cue point should be at 2
I am attaching a video to make it clear what I mean.
