I have a DDJ FLX2, and I have the software installed on my Windows PC.
I have a question: If I want to use the smart effects to remove the vocals from the song, or mute the band and leave only the vocals, is this possible from my controller? I haven’t been able to find a way.
NOTE: I know that I can set some effects from the effects panel, but I see that they aren’t customizable.

Hi @Enrique_Fagundez, I don’t have access to this hardware to check for myself.
- However, you can switch the EQs in djay from normal to Neural Mix and use these to remove Vocals, Instruments or Drums.
- Also, the Manual FX can be Routed to any of the Neural Mix Parts
- We also have a wide selection of Neural Mix Instant FX located near the bottom of the list.
- One of the Performance Pad Modes on the FLX2 may also be mapped to Neural Mix functions like Mute and Solo, but you will have to check them all to confirm.
- Finally, if you enable the Neural Mix panel in Windows, we also have a selection of Neural Mix Mute FX.
