Neural Mix MIDI mapping

Mac os sonoma puce M1

Hi eveverybody

YOUR QUESTION:

  1. I want to midi map neural mix action ( look to the red line on the picture)

  2. Is it possible to put this action on knob of deck 3 and 4 ?

Thanks for your help

Hi @Yan, yes, all of these Neural Mix controls can be mapped to unused knobs of Deck 3 and 4.

  1. The controls circled on the left side of your image are for Neural Mix Volume. For these, make sure you set the Target>Deck 1 and Target>Deck 2.
  2. The controls circled on the right side of your image are for Neural Mix Crossfader. For these, make sure you set the Target>Mixer.

For more info on how to MIDI map on macOS, please refer to the linked section below from the User Manual:

Thanks but i just want to kill or to “use” each individual element not to adjust the volume. Like if you are clicking the drum button with the mouse and it become yellow.

I am not using the physical fader ( disfunction) may i midi map these fonction on knobs : for example Moving drums from deck 1 to deck 2 , at the same time moving harmonics from deck 2 to 1 etc

Okay, thanks for clarifying @Yan. Then the MIDI commands you are looking for are one of the following:

  1. Neural Mix Solo: This will Solo the selected NM Part and mute the remaining 3.
  2. Neural Mix Mute: This will Mute the select NM Part while keeping the other 3 playing.
  3. Yes, you can MIDI map the Neural Mix Crossfaders to a fader or a knob. They work in a similar way.

Please see my earlier message above. For the Neural Mix Crossfader, you need to set the Target to Mixer to see the commands

Sorry but on knobs with mixer i’ve got only this:

The Neural Mix Crossfader is shown in your screenshot:

These are the MIDI commands for the controls on the right side of your first screenshot:

You’ve got a tough job dealing with people like me. I pick things up quickly, but you have to spend ages explaining them to me. I am sorry for my poor english i made a mix of diffrrent answer

Is it possible to keep my physical crossfader off?

My physical crossfader turn on with neural mix crossfader

Nothing happen in the music when i am moving the neural mix crossfader

Hi @Yan, maybe you can try to clarify what is happening and what you want with a short screen recording or video?
