Hi Algoriddim Team,
I hope you’re doing well!
I recently started using the DDJ-GRV6 with djay and I’m really enjoying the native integration—especially the Neural Mix stem separation and FX features. I noticed that Serato provides a custom sticker overlay for stem controls on the GRV6, which makes navigation during live sets much more intuitive.
Given djay’s powerful Neural Mix capabilities, I was wondering if Algoriddim has considered offering a similar sticker or overlay to label relevant controls—such as crossfader assignments, stem FX routing, and pad functions. I believe this could really enhance the live performance experience, especially for DJs switching between different software platforms.
I understand that physical accessories like the Serato sticker are typically designed and distributed by AlphaTheta, so I’m also curious if this idea could be something coordinated between Algoriddim and AlphaTheta. It seems like a great opportunity for collaboration to further improve the hardware/software synergy and workflow.
Would love to hear your thoughts on this, or whether anything similar might be in development!
Thanks again for the amazing work you’re doing!
Best regards,
Illya

Hi @illya_kroon, thanks for the suggestion. Interesting idea. I will pass this onto the team for consideration. Is this something you would be willing to purchase separately or is your expectation that it would be included for free with the GRV6 purchase? Thanks!

Hi @Slak_Jaw
Thanks for the quick response—I really appreciate you considering the idea!
As for the sticker, I’d be open to either option. If it helps bring it to market sooner, I’d absolutely be willing to purchase it separately. That said, including it with future GRV6 units would be a fantastic benefit for new users and anyone buying the controller specifically to use with djay. It could help onboard DJs faster and make Neural Mix more accessible right out of the box.
Excited to hear what the team thinks!
All the best,
Illya
You’re welcome @illya_kroon. Thanks for the additional info. I’ll pass this on…

Hi Slak_Jaw
After thinking more about the sticker idea and digging into djay’s integration with the DDJ-GRV6, I came up with a new approach that might offer even greater value to users—a custom controller skin designed specifically for djay.
Instead of a simple sticker overlay, a full skin could visually reflect djay’s Neural Mix layout and FX mappings, with all buttons, knobs, faders, and pads labeled to match their behavior in the djay app. It would offer much clearer visual guidance during performances, especially when switching stems or triggering FX on the fly.
Here’s why I believe this would be a great addition:
- Helps DJs instantly identify control assignments when using djay’s advanced stem features
- Smooths the learning curve for new users or DJs switching over from other platforms
- Creates a more immersive, performance-ready feel tailored to djay’s unique workflow
- Matches the physical layout of the DDJ-GRV6 for seamless use with Neural Mix tools
I’d love to hear your thoughts on whether something like this is possible—either through collaboration with AlphaTheta or as a separately offered accessory for djay users.
Thanks again for all the amazing work!
Best regards,
Illya
Thanks for the additional thoughts on this @illya_kroon. I will share these with the dev team. Personally, if I were you, I’d probably contact one of the existing DJ skin manufacturers about making your own custom skin. DJs get these custom made all the time.
welcome to the Community! Thanks for sharing @Edgardo_Rodriguez
I’d happily buy one from your online shop for my DDJ-GRV6 (please)
