New MIDI mappings are created without changing anything

When using my Reloop Mixtour as midi controller, and I go the MIDI mapping config/edit and have it opened for editing, even without changing anything it will automatically create new versions of the midi mapping (f.e. edit 1, edit 2 etc.). It seems there is some mechanism in place that detects somehing, maybe midi info, and then creates a new version of the MIDI mapping without user intervention..
