Your question:

Hi!

Currently using DJay Pro with DDJ FLX-4. I connect my computer to speakers via headphone jack, and use the DDJ FLX-4’s headphone jack for headphone cueing.

One day, it just stopped playing cue audio. I have “headphones” set for main output, DDJ FLX-4 channel 3-4 for cueing. Dials are set correctly (all the way to cue, headphone level up). I think cueing itself is broken because I set the laptop’s internal speakers for cueing and still no audio.

I’ve tested with rekordbox and it’s not a hardware issue.

How do I fix this?

Thanks!

Hi @chonger.mix, welcome to the Community! I recommend that you connect your speakers to the Master RCA sockets on the rear panel of the FLX4 instead of to your computer headphone socket. Then connect your headphones to the headphone socket on the front panel FLX4. This is how the FLX4 is indented to be connected and should solve your audio issues.

Hi, unfortunately my speakers don’t take RCA. Is there another solution? It was working fine before, I don’t know why it stopped working.

I would get one of these cables. They are cheap and readily available. My speaker doesn’t have RCA either. I connect my controller with an RCA to 3.5mm stereo cable.

Hi again @chonger.mix, you could also check your audio driver and output settings.

  1. In the djay Settings>Audio Devices, try changing the Audio Driver from ASIO to WASAPI.
  2. Then set the Main Output to **Speakers - Realtek.
