I cannot select tracks using the music library controls on my Beatpad. I am only able to add songs to each channel while selecting directly from the tablet. Is this by design? If so I would have definitely went for an iPad instead.

Unfortunately this feature is not available for Android devices.
It is only possible when you are using iPad / iPhone / Mac
