Not Connecting at all

I have the iDJ Live controller, and the djay 2 app, but its not connecting to the ipad when i plug it in. i went to the setting and it says 1 device found but its not connecting at all. What do i Do?

Please open the Settings app and go to General > About and scroll to the bottom.
Can you see an entry saying “iDJ Live”? By the way, which iOS version is running on your iPad?

In this case, your iDJ Live is not compatible with iOS 8 (this is a known issue since iOS 6). Please contact Numark support about this:
