As you have probably seen I’ve been working on Djay with Native Instrument products. Because they didn’t work out of the box I decided to build this out of Novation Launch Control as I had one laying around. I carry it on my neck.
It’s still work in progress but I managed to make most out of it already. To unlock it’s full potential I need to create a schematics for different pages so the buttons that do not change (master and crossfader for example) stay the same through the program change. Now I have coded the similar functionalities for every page under different key commands.
What do you think? I can show it in action if anyone is interested. Maybe share the mappings in the future if I ever get it done.
EDIT: I currently have two main programs. The first one has both decks available for the controls listed on left side. They are mapped d1 and d2.
When changing to program 2 the left side knobs turn into ”selected deck” knobs for the same values and the right side gets new functionalities. From the top you can change the selected deck and even see which deck is currently selected.
Under the deck indicators there are buttons to change song. For program 2 I have a skip set up which length (SPD) can be changed through blue tagged knob.
