NS6 Crossfader issue

YOUR QUESTION:

  1. The crossfader in combination with my NS6 (on Windows 11 25H2) doesn’t work properly: all of a sudden when fading from deck 1 to deck 2 it doesn’t fade out, while going from deck 2 to deck 1 it does fade out. I’ve given it a try on Serato DJPro 2.5.1 and it does function properly. What to do?

  1. Can you please share a screen recording so I can see what is happening in djay?
  2. Please also confirm your djay version and Numark NS6 firmware version.
  3. Also, what crossfader curve settings are you using on the NS6 and within the djay settings?

Forgot about the versions, sorry:

Numark NS6 version 1.0.3(k1) & djayPRO 5.6.4

The curve settings are default on both the NS6 and in djayPRO (both linefader and crossfader)

  1. Please check the Crossfader Curve dial and assignement switches for DECK A and DECK B

Thank you.

  1. Please select Reset to Defaults at the bottom of the Audio Devices settings.
  2. Make sure the DECK A switches are both set to L and the DECK B switches are both set to R

And a miracle happened: after reseting to default and flicking the switches back and forth all is working again! :smiley:
