Numark idj Pro Ipad 1 vs Ipad 2,3 user

I just bought the Numark idj pro and I am using my ipad1. I assumed I could cue both tracks while mixing but it’s only mono. From what I found online I need IOS 6 to use multichannel while IOS 5 only allows mono. Is there going to be a fix for this or is apple really not going to update the ipad1…I’m not really happy finding out after the fact that that this technically does not work the same for ipad 1 as it would for ipad 2 or 3.

Is there going to be a fix for this or is apple really not going to update to iOS6 for the ipad1?

Multi-route is only supported on iOS 6 and djay 1.6 (and later).

Hate tell you this but I think iOS6 is optimized for iPad 2/3 and iPad1 users are SOL. I have both but I haven’t updated due to the iOS6 problems I’ve been reading.

Well lets say iOS6 was fixed…could I listen to both tracks at the same time…is that what iOS6 for ipad 2 and 3 does? I’m guessing I have to spend more money now and buy an Ipad2 or 3.
