Numark Mixtrack Pro FX Mapping for Mac

I have a Mixtrack Pro Fx and most of the controller is mapped correctly. I have two problems

  1. headphone cue button is not working. I get no sound when I am trying to cue a mix while the other is playing. I have looked at the mapping and cant figure it out.

  2. The 8 pads are not all good. For example when I press cue, autoloop, cut fader or sampler I dont get a response from the Midi map. I want to program each section such as cue for 8 pads, auto loop for 8 pads, fader and sampler. The bottom buttons are all the same on each section but would like to change it. If anyone can help that would be fantastic.

I would like to continue with djay pro as its in my price range, but if not might have to bite the bullet an go to Serato dj

Thanks a lot

Craig

Hello

I figured out the headphone situation finally. I thought I also had the midi mapping figured out but I can only map the top 4 buttons in each of the sections. The bottom 4 buttons I cant seperately configure. For example there are 4 sections. Cue/Auto Loop/Fader Cuts/Sample. Each section has 8 buttons. I want to configure buttons 5-8 for each section but it only allows me to do it once and that applies to all sections. In Serato dj pro it is able to do. I want to figure out why I cant program different actions for each section. I did the duplicate thinking I could duplicate and do 5-8 for each section but it wont work . It just has the same actions for buttons 5-8 in each section. Please help so I can continue to use djay pro.

Thank you

Craig

Hi @Gabberman1980, I’m glad you got the pre-cueing sorted out. I did some more digging on the performance pad issue and this appears to be a hardware limitation when used with djay. Other users have reported the same limitation in different topics. I’ll pass this onto our engineering team to see if anything can be done, but I suspect not.

EDIT: I have confirmed with engineering. This is currently a limitation of this hardware when used with djay.
