I’ve just returned back from BPM in Birmingham and had the joy of playing with the new Numark NS7 II…it is seriously good fun and a massive piece of kit. At the moment it’s paired with Serato, but I’m wondering…it’s a Midi controller…so perhaps (fingers crossed) it’s USB class compliant (like a lot of other Numark controllers) and therefore might get some djay 2 support in the future?
Those spinning vinyl platters and capacitive filters & EQs are great fun.

DJ Hombre, I fully support your request. That new NS7 II is an incredibly attractive tool with those velocity-sensitive pads and touch-sensitive knobs but also a lot of other features.
On the other hand, I really wish that Algoriddim would also give us the ability to set 8 cue points instead of just 4. That’s my main gripe after the otherwise terrific v2 upgrade.

If NS7 II is class compliant you can use midi learn on a mac and then copy that file into Djay2 folder on a jalibroken ipad. Btw, in case you haven’t already voted, there is a thread in the ideas section called Midi learn. I hope that it gets implemented soon as it would make life a lot easier for us with unsupported controllers.
