I’m using the Numark Party Mix controller with an iPad running Djay pro with subscription. Is there a way to change which samples are triggered when I press one of the sampler pads on the controller? Also, kind of the same question with effects. Can I change which effect is triggered when I press an effect pad? I’d like loop roll (not sure what Djay calls that effect) on something like 2, 1, 1/2, and 1/4 beats.

If you map the FX on/off function to a MIDI button you can assign the effect including Echo via the Manual FX view in the app.
If you are trying to map “one touch” FX types (FX is applied as long as you press the MIDI button) then currently we only offer the 6 instant FX (Drift, Sway, Absorb, etc.). We’ll consider expanding these instant effects for future releases.

With the subscribed djay for iOS you can remap the controls of your controller via the djay for iOS midi learn feature.
You can find the feature in the djay settings.
In the midi learn window, hit the sample pad you want to re-map and select another action.

Yes, thank you, that is helpful. I have been able to change some of the functions.
Although, I am still having trouble with some of the effects.
When in the midi mapping settings I can’t seem to be able to find some of the effects, such as echo. I only seem to be to choose from 6 effects. Not all of the effects seem to be listed under midi actions. Maybe I am missing something.
