Numark PHX USB headphones

I am thinking of buying a pair of the Numark PHX USB headphones. I’m currently using a Mac (Djay app) and Apple TV to play music through the speakers. Will these headphone allow me to preview the song without impacting on the speaker output?

Hi Dave,

Generally speaking, you can use USB audio devices with djay for Pre-cueing. However, this is not supported at the moment when you’re using AirPlay. So, this only works if you’re e.g. using the Mac’s built-in speakers or headphone out as master output. Basically, you need to connect the speakers directly to your Mac.
