Off-beat loop cure please?

I feel the loop function is guided by a grid that is often wrong - how to reset that grid? It sometimes work with 4/4 tech - but even if I punch in a out point manually it quantize it - often with offbeat results? Tricks please?

a manual In Out Loop function without Quantisation is a big point on our agenda.
