Ive ordered a pioneer VM 70 to connect to pioneer rev5. Only one speaker for now so I can see how it sounds as my music room is only a small room. How would you connect? Left xlr to speaker or a splitter cable, left and right xlr from controller into speaker?

If you want to send the full stereo signal to that single speaker you will need an XLR Y adapter. If you’re okay with just send L or R mono to the speaker then a single direct XLR will do the trick for now.

Cheers mate. I ordered a xlr y splitter. One speaker may be enough as they’re pretty punchy.
