macbook pro sonoma 14.8.1
iphone 16max ios26.0.1
Hi,
Using Onelibrary, on my macbook I transferred my playlists and tracks to a USB stick formatted as FAT32. When I connected the USB to my iPhone, everything appeared correctly — all playlists and tracks showed up, and I imported them into the iPhone’s internal memory (Djay’s My Collection).
The issue is that after importing — and loading the songs from the internal memory (with the USB no longer connected) — about half the tracks in My Collection are missing their cue points and loops. In some cases, the cue points are still there but their names have been replaced with “DJCU…”. On other tracks, there are no cues at all, not even unnamed markers.
When importing, I chose the option to overwrite existing cues, since there were no existing tracks from the USB in my library anyways. So I don’t think that caused the missing cues. What’s strange is that a few tracks did import correctly with all cues and names intact.
However, if I load the same track directly from the USB, all cue points, loops, and cue names show up perfectly. It’s only when I load that same track from the internal My Collection (after importing and disconnecting the USB) that the cues and loops are missing.
This suggests that during the import process — when transferring playlists and tracks into the iPhone’s internal memory — the cue data didn’t copy properly. Roughly half of the library lost cue points completely, while the rest kept the cues but lost the original names, replaced with “DJCU…”.
I didn’t see any patterns related to specific MP3 or M4A files, whether old or new. But I did notice that some of the songs missing my cues seem to have Serato cues instead. For example, some tracks I originally downloaded from my record pool already had Serato cues. I erased those, added my own, and named them — but somehow, when importing from the USB to My Collection (internal), my cues were overwritten by the old Serato cues, maybe?
Thanks!
