I wonder if a part of this site could be used to store cross streaming platform playlists that can be accessed on the DJAY app, as long as you keep subscriptions to the streaming apps(Tidal, Beatsource, SoundCloud, Apple). You can create playlist but not necessarily play them because of bandwidth. It would just be a permanent depository.
This way if you get a new iPad you still have those combined streaming playlists accessible to the Djay app at all times. There still can be the usual playlists and Smart playlists, this just adds another backup. The DJAY app would just pull from the saved lists on the site from the various streaming apps.
It would be something like the meta data on the Beatsource online site.
Maybe I’ve misunderstood, but I don’t see the point. When you create playlists on streaming services, you can access them regardless of the platform you use and even with new devices. And under normal circumstances, they don’t disappear from the respective service (= a permanent depository). And I don’t understand the reference to not being able to use the playlists due to lack of bandwidth in this context, as that’s a fundamental problem with online services (although audio tracks don’t usually require much bandwidth). So what’s the point?
I’m talking about a playlists with tracks from Tidal & Beatsource. You would have to recreate it on the new device. Of course, individual streaming apps keep the same data
This is about “cross app playlists.”
