Phase / WIR waveform drift

YOUR QUESTION:

When using Phase in WIR mode, the waveforms seem skewed somewhat, and only align at the playhead marker.

As you can see, both tracks are straight. And Sync (BPM or BPM + Beats) doesn’t seem to make a difference. Serato has always been the same I think. Although I’m sure this wasn’t always the case, but not sure what version it changed!

Is this expected behaviour?

Edit: Also, as you can see, my waveforms are a bit jittery regardless (even in internal mode). Any advice to improve that would be great.

Hi @andybarnes, sorry for the delayed reply - I was away on vacation. I think this might be because that Silence track is not a perfectly straight BPM. At least the song that I pulled from Beatport Streaming appears to vary between 136.8 and 139.2 BPM. Can you please test with a different song that you know for sure is a constant BPM?
