Hi @JP369, it’s been a week and I wanted to follow up and see if my suggestion above solved your issue. Thanks!
Hi Slak_Jaw, I didn’t forget about you. I got the cable on Amazon, but I am still waiting to receive. It is supposed to be her by Saturday.
I’ll let you know something over the week end.
Thanks!
Hi Slak_Jaw, here I am…
I got the cable you suggested and I tried it. Nothing has changed. Like before, the app recognizes the mixer but doesn’t recognize the Decks. I have the same configuration that is on Mac OS (please see attachment) that works perfectly.
Thanks!
Hi @JP369, I think there has been some misunderstanding in our discussion. As noted near the top of our discussion, the CDJ3000s are NOT supported on iOS. Only the DJM-S11 is supported. The suggestions I provided were to enable connection of your S11 to iOS which sounds like it is now working.
Yes, that’s the case, a misunderstanding…
Just to be clear, the DJM-S11 always worked on iOS, even using that cheap adaptor. But since you asked again, I thought that probably was my misunderstanding and that the CDJ3000s were supposed to work as well.
Now everything is clear, thanks!
Any info/idea about when/if the CDJ3000s will be supported?
Thank you!
Okay, glad we cleared that up. As also stated above, the hardware needs to be USB Class Compliant before it can be supported for use with iOS. This needs to be done by the hardware manufacturer. I recommend you reach out to Pioneer regarding this. I hope that helps!
I will. Thank you so much for your help!
So far ok, but CDJs also support HID mode. If Algoriddim implements this, they should also be usable with iOS/iPadOS.However, I’m not a developer and certainly don’t know all the technical details.
