The Pioneer DJM-900SRT is not officially supported by djay Pro, but, with the macOS drivers it worked fine; was able to use the audio interface and MIDI map controls. Sound quality was better than the Mixtour Pro, Traktor Z1 and FLX4 (through the line-level inputs). Also Crossfader FX worked in External Mixer mode. The only thing I did not have time to figure out was previewing tracks in the library; but I was able to pre-cue tracks on the other decks.
There are some complaints online about the DJM 900 series mixers lacking bass or sounding thin through the audio interface (vs hardware inputs). When using the built-in 900SRT audio interface, I felt like I had to set the low EQ to 2 o’clock position. When running the Mixtour Pro/Traktor Z1/FLX4 through the line level inputs, I felt fine leaving the low EQ at 12 o’clock.
