Pitch range on vinyl DVS

I’m using DJay Pro on an iPad.

I’m using turntables and DVS control vinyl.

When using this set up, isthere a way to increase the pitch range to beyond +8 and -8?

When I go into DJay’s pitch range setting and choose a larger range, say 16% or 25%, it doesn’t seem to change the range of BPMs I can achieve with my turntable pitch slider.

Am I doing something wrong? Or is this not possible with vinyl DVS?

Thanks!

If you in DVS , I recommend to switch layout to Hardware Mode. Pitch fader in djay Pro not adjust range by speed from DVS timecode. That pitch fader is for controller.

Hi! Thanks for your reply.

I think I’m in Hardware mode.

My question is more about whether there’s a way to use my Technic 1200 pitch slider, but have DJ Pro multiply the effect by somehow changing the picth range %.

For instance, when I change that percentage, it doesn’t seem to change the pitch range I can achieve with my turntable pitch slider.

In DVS, the ‘pitched’ signal comes from your turntable, affected by the physical pitch of your TT. What your asking for is a pitch multiplier for DVS signal in djay. I doubt it will happen but it could, although it will be confusing for others people.
Technics are limited to ±8% (not modified). That’s why I got Reloop RP-8000 MK2 (±50%) or 7000.
