YOUR QUESTION:

macOS 14.8.9
Version of djay:
djay Pro 5.6.9
Hardware/controllers used:
Pioneer DJ DDJ-REV7, DDJ-SP1
Hardware firmware version:

YOUR QUESTION:
I’m currently testing djay Pro 5.6.9 and using the External Apps library integration.
My main music library is in Traktor Pro 4. djay can access it directly through TR Collection, and the tracks, playlists and other metadata appear correctly. However, Traktor’s existing Play Count does not seem to appear in djay’s Play Count column.
Could you please clarify:
1. Is djay Pro supposed to read and display the existing PLAYCOUNT directly from Traktor when using TR Collection?
2. If yes, is there any setting, library refresh, analysis, or other step required for the existing Traktor Play Count values to appear?
3. Does djay also read and display existing Play Count values directly through SR Collection (Serato) and RB Collection (Rekordbox)?
4. If Play Count is currently not supported through TR/SR/RB Collections, is support for this metadata planned?
To be clear, I’m specifically asking about direct access through djay’s TR Collection, SR Collection and RB Collection integrations, NOT about converting/importing libraries through DJ Conversion Utility (DJCU2).
My preferred workflow is to keep Traktor as my master library and access it directly from djay, without maintaining a second converted djay library.
Thank you!
